Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital appoints Chief Finance Officer

After a nationwide recruitment search, James Norman has been appointed to the role of Chief Finance Officer at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

James is currently Deputy Group Finance Director at Network Rail and has more than 15 years’ experience working in finance within the construction, utilities and transportation sectors. He has worked at Network Rail since 2009 and lives in Norfolk with his family.

John Fry, Chairman of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “I am very pleased to welcome James to our hospitals. His years of experience and knowledge will be enormously valuable to the Trust.”

Mark Davies, Chief Executive of NNUH said: “I am delighted that James will be joining us as our Chief Finance Officer. His range of experience, enormous drive, and energy will both strengthen, and add expertise to our team.”

James Norman, who will join the Trust early in 2017, said: “I am delighted to be joining Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals, I have lived in Norfolk for the last 12 years and I know first-hand the great work done by the hospital. It’s an exciting time to be joining the team and I am very much looking forward to working with the staff, governors and stakeholders.”
