Communications team shortlisted for four industry awards
The Corporate Communications department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) has been shortlisted for four prestigious communications industry awards.
The team is in the running for honours at the Chartered Institute of Public Relation’s (CIPR) PRide Awards for Anglia, Thames and Chiltern which covers nine counties.
The shortlist was announced on 18 July with the team up for awards for internal communications campaign, best use of social media, not-for-profit campaign and low budget campaign.
The team has been shortlisted for best use of social media for its promotion of the third NNUH Dementia Information and Advice Fayre for the public.
The Trust’s Sharing the Learning campaign, which is shining a spotlight on the many quality improvement initiatives happening at NNUH, is up for the low budget campaign award.
Here Comes the Summer, a campaign for NNUH staff, has been shortlisted for the internal communications award and the Trust’s NHS 70 celebrations was shortlisted for not-for-profit campaign.
Fiona Devine, NNUH Director of Communications, said: “The PRide Awards honour the very best in communications and we are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for four CIPR awards this year. This is a fantastic achievement for the whole team and we are proud that our work is able to make such a big difference to our almost 8,000 staff and to teams across the Trust.”
