AGM to focus on increasing capacity and investing in new technologies in Cardiology and Interventional Radiology

Increasing capacity and investing in innovations in Cardiology and Interventional Radiology will be the focus for the AGM at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) on Monday 23 September.

The event starts at 4pm with an exhibition in the East Atrium of the Trust’s work and progress, and the AGM meeting in the Benjamin Gooch Lecture Theatre starts at 4.30pm.

Mark Davies, Chief Executive, will be reviewing the significant progress the Trust has made over this last period and there will be presentations from senior clinicians on Cardiology and Interventional Radiology.  Interventional Radiology is a minimally invasive alternative to open surgery that uses radiological image guidance such as x-ray, ultrasound and CT to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.

The efforts of hospital fundraisers will also be recognised in a special ceremony at the AGM – the Inspirational Fundraising Awards.

Mark Davies, Chief Executive, said: “The exhibitions and specialist talks will make this a fascinating event and I am delighted that it includes our Inspirational Fundraising Awards. Our hospital charity is supported by staff, patients and the wider community and these awards recognise and honour just some of the amazing people who have helped the charity.”
