NNUH Apprenticeships team win two regional awards

For the second year in a row NNUH have won both ‘Macro Employer of the Year’ and ‘Recruitment Excellence’ categories at the National Apprenticeships Awards.

Our Apprenticeships team attended the regional awards event in Newmarket where the awards for ‘Macro Employer’ of the year and ‘Recruitment Excellence Employer’ of the year were announced.

Annie Cook says: “I am delighted that the NNUH has won both of these awards for the last two years, it is a credit to all the teams that support our apprentices, and the apprentices themselves, and it confirms NNUH as a top employer in the East of England. I’m very proud of the Apprenticeship team who facilitate and support the teams and apprentices. Apprenticeships change lives and businesses.”

Paul Jones says: “To see our apprenticeship team picking up two regional prizes at the National Apprenticeship Awards is great to see. It shows how dedicated the team and the hospital are in ensuring we offer great employment opportunities.  We continue to lead the way in offering both entry level and advanced apprenticeships to our community within Norfolk.”

We now progress onto the national awards in London on 27 November where we are hoping to pick up the two awards in recognition of apprenticeships not only at NNUH but across the NHS as a whole.
