Last chance to vote in hospital governor election

The election of four new hospital Governors closes on 27 November at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

New governors are being sought to represent patients and public on the Trust’s Council of Governors. The election will fill vacancies for public governors in Breckland, Broadland, South Norfolk, and Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

David White, Chairman of NNUH, said: “Our governors play a key role in ensuring that our hospitals are embedded into the community they serve. The new governors will have an important function in representing the interests of our patients and influencing how hospital services are developed for the future.”

The successful candidates will be elected by the Trust’s 17,000 public members who are being urged to return their ballot papers by 5pm on 27 November.

Mi-Voice is running the election on behalf of the Trust to ensure it is independent and fair. The results of the election will be announced at the beginning of December.
