NNUH 2020 End of year video

Thank you to all our staff and volunteers for their efforts this year, which has been the most challenging in the history of the NHS.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, our teams have working flat out to redesign services and keep patients and staff as safe as possible. We are indebted to all those who have been working on the frontline of the pandemic and the teams working hard to maintain all emergency and urgent care, surgery, cancer services and maternity care.

Despite the pandemic, we launched new services to improve patient care. We have invested in new robotic-assisted technology, opened a new dialysis unit, new wards and a state-of-the-art interventional radiology facility. This was the year our Trust exited special measures due to the fantastic improvements and hard work by our staff.

It has been a hugely challenging year, but our teams have pulled together and hope is on the horizon for 2021.

2020 has been a challenging year, but we continue to look out for each other. Thank you to all our NHS heroes and to the people of Norfolk and Waveney for your support over the last 12 months.
