Overview
The objective of these guidelines is to offer support to those working in paediatrics and paediatric surgery to assess children presenting with abdominal pain of less than one week duration. These guidelines will give a framework for Doctors and Nurse practitioners in the community to identify children with serious abdominal pathology requiring urgent referral for assessment by a specialist doctor.
