  1. To identify patients who are at high risk of post operative hypocalcaemia following thyroidectomy EXCLUDING RENAL PARATHYROIDECTOMY CASES WHERE CA4037 MUST BE USED.
  2. To safely manage post operative hypocalcaemia.
  3. To identify those patients who are safe to be discharged early from a calcium point of view.
