Professional Profile: Appointed as an NNUH consultant in 2025, Mr Bochmann completed general orthopaedic surgical training across Yorkshire and the East of England.

Prior to taking up this position, he completed a highly competitive, nationally appointed ortho-plastic hand surgery fellowship in Exeter; an internationally recognised centre for orthopaedic innovation and excellence.

He also maintains an interest in the support of hand surgery development in Low- and Middle-income countries, having served as a member of the BSSH Global Partnership Trainee committee and on the leadership team for the BSSH LION project, introducing a sustainable hand surgery service in Malawi.
