Privacy Notice

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust) processes information about you in order to provide health care services, and in doing so has to comply with the requirements of the UK Data Protection Law and the UK General Data Protection Regulation.  This means that data held about you must only be used for specific purposes as defined by law.  This Privacy Notice has been created to inform you about the types of information held about you, why that information is held about you, and to whom that information may be shared for the provision of care.  If we have to share information that identifies you as an individual, for any other purpose, we will seek you explicit consent.

We have published an updated Privacy Notice to make transparent why and how our Trust intends to undertake data handling activities in relation to a Patient Engagement Portal (PEP) and which is an expansion of the Trust’s previous Personalised Outpatient Programme (POP).
