Tim How was brought up in Norwich and did a natural science degree at Cambridge. His career has been in the commercial sector, mainly in retail. He was chief executive of Majestic Wine plc for 19 years until 2008. Since then he has held a number of non executive roles including seven years as a director of the N&N Hospital where he was chair of the finance and investment committee. Tim is currently chairman of Roys of Wroxham and was appointed chair of The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House in August 2021. He lives in Brancaster Staithe with his wife Liz.
