Profile & Special clinical interests: Planning and performing open and advanced endovascular repairs of complex abdominal aortic aneurysms, hybrid procedures for peripheral arterial disease, diagnosing and treating thoracic outlet syndrome (supraclavicular / trans-axillary approaches) and collaborating with the spinal surgeons for anterior approach to the lumbosacral spine for ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) procedures.

Professional profile:After completing extensive surgical training in South Yorkshire, UK, Mr Al-Jundi pursued fellowships in minimally invasive vascular procedures at renowned centres such as Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and the University of Toronto Hospitals in Canada. Alongside his clinical training, he was awarded Master of Science from Cardiff University in 2011, Master of Education from the University of Sheffield in 2017 and received an MBA with Distinction from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2020.

Mr Al-Jundi is a senior clinical lecturer and instructor at UEA, contributing to several educational programs. He has authored more than 40 publications and is a co-author of two best-selling postgraduate books in basic surgical training.
