Professional Profile:

I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals, with a specialist interest in therapeutic endoscopy. I completed my specialist training in the East of England before being appointed as a consultant at NNUH.

My main clinical interests include ERCP for the treatment of bile duct stones and strictures, stent insertion for benign and malignant gastrointestinal strictures, and endoscopic treatment of oesophageal motility disorders, including achalasia and oesophageal spasm. I also look after patients with common gastrointestinal conditions including irritable bowel syndrome, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel disease.

I completed my Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of East Anglia, researching pain in pancreatic cancer and the role of endoscopic treatments for pain relief. My academic work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
