Cromer Day Procedure Unit (DPU)

Cromer Day Procedure Unit is open  8am – 5pm and has 20 full and part-time staff. It consists of a six-bay recliner/trolley treatment area where patients can undergo minor surgery in the procedure room. Procedures undertaken include LA plastic surgery, dermatology, pain management, hysteroscopy under LA, flexible cystoscopy, varicose vein surgery and medical botox treatments.

Ophthalmic surgery and procedures are also provided by the unit situated in the Allies theatre.

Location

The Cromer Day Procedure Unit is situated on the first floor of Cromer Hospital. There are lifts available. Allies theatre is on the ground floor.
