Cromer Dialysis Unit (Renal)

Cromer Dialysis Unit caters for patients requiring haemodialysis and haemodiafiltration from both the locality and where possible, those who wish to visit the area on holiday.

We have spaces for eight patients, three times a day and are open Monday-Saturday including Bank Holidays (the exception for this being Christmas Day and New Years Day when we open on the Sunday instead both of these weeks).

We are staffed by a small, friendly and committed group of nursing staff, led by Senior Sister Janet Dickenson and also have a dedicated group of volunteers who are an essential part of the team. Medical care is provided by a Consultant from Norwich who visits weekly and the Renal Technicians from Norwich are also regular visitors to the Unit.

We welcome enquiries from anyone wishing to consider a holiday in Cromer and for those who are interested in volunteering with us. Patients wishing to transfer their haemodialysis care to us on a permanent basis should in the first instance discuss this with the lead nurse on their current unit who will liaise with us.
