Jenny Lind – Information for GPs
The Jenny Lind Children's Hospital is a hospital within a hospital and provides a broad range of paediatric services delivered through a number of specialties caring for children and young people. These include:
- Buxton Ward, Children’s Inpatients: 33 beds including 2 high dependency beds
- Children’s Medical Day Ward: 4 beds
- Children’s Day Procedure Unit: 8 beds
- Children’s Assessment Unit: 8 beds
- Children’s Accident and Emergency Department
- Children’s Outpatients including a specialist children’s forensic facility
- Children’s Theatre Services Department
- Outpatient facilities throughout the trust including at Cromer and District Hospital
- *Community Children’s Services, delivered in a number of locations

- Metabolic Disease
- Nephrology

- Neurology
- Oncology
- Genetics
- Endocrine oncology

The Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital at NNUH provides tertiary level care for children across the region in a number of areas including:
- Neonatal Intensive Care
- Children’s and Neonatal Surgery
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Gastroenterology
- Orthopaedics including Spinal Surgery
- Rheumatology including Chronic Pain
- Diabetes including insulin pump therapy
- Endocrinology and Obesity services
- Children’s forensic services*
