‘Neuro’ is a broad and important family of interconnected doctors and nurses providing leading care for seriously ill patients. Our hospital is developing our Neuroscience department and currently the team provides a comprehensive range of specialist services and uses the very latest research and best practice to make sure the care patients receive is safe, effective and of the highest possible quality. We fundraise to support services and research across the neurosciences department.
The Stroke Service is one area which has benefited from your donations. The Service works with both inpatients and outpatients caring for people who have suffered a stroke or who are suspected of having had one. The charitable fund helps to support staff and patients by providing additional facilities, equipment or training to continually enhance the excellence of care.
