TV donated to Lion Ward at NNUH
Father Kevin Thurston with the help of his company Easy PDQ raised monies to buy and donates a 42″ LCD HD television to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) as a thank you to the staff who looked after this son.
Kevin's son Kingsley Thurston came to the NNUH in September for squint surgery. Mr Thurston said “I try and do something once a year for the children's ward at the NNUH. When my son was being cared for at the hospital I thought they could do with a better television for the children visiting the Day Procedure Unit. I hope that future patients will benefit from the unit having it.
The television is going to be placed on the wall in Lion Ward and will benefit all day case children coming in to DPU for minor ops.
Jemma Alexander, Assistant Practitioner in Paediatrics from the Day Procedure Unit at the NNUH said “we are really grateful to Kevin and his company for donating this television to us which will entertain the children while waiting for their surgery. It will make a real difference to our patients who come to the ward”.
