Norwich hosts international conference on paediatric surgery

Last week the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital hosted the Strategies & Trends in European Paediatric Surgery (STEPS) conference. Nearly 100 experts from across Europe gathered to share their knowledge on the diagnosis, management and outcomes for young patients with oesophageal disease.

Mr Ashish Minocha, Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at NNUH who organised the conference, said: “It is a privilege to hold this international event in Norwich with some of the leading paediatric surgeons from the UK, across Europe and further afield.”

The conference has previously been held across Europe in countries such as Germany, Luxembourg, Latvia, Italy, Spain and Holland.
