Children are eggstatic to have an eggcellent Easter at Norfolk’s largest hospital

Children at the Jenny Lind Children’s department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) are going to have a ‘cracking’ good time when they are presented with hundreds of eggs on Sunday 20th March.

Around 120 scooters from the Norwich Scooter club ‘shelled out’ and will be delivering Easter eggs as part of their annual Easter run.

Emma Dolman, NNUH Buxton Ward Matron said: “The staff and children are always delighted to see the Norfolk Scooter Club and we would like to extend a big thank you for their generous donations. The donation really brightens up the day for children on both Buxton Ward and those visiting the Jenny Lind Children’s Outpatients.

“Children visiting hospital enjoy these visits as they are good distractions from the normal clinical environment and help aid in their recovery.”

Jez Kidd from the Norwich Scooter Club said: “This is the fifth year that I have been involved in organising the annual Egg Run as part of Norwich Scooter Collective and it’s the kick start to our scootering calendar so everyone looks forward to it.”

All the staff and children at the Jenny Lind Children’s department are eggsstrememly grateful for the continued support of Norwich Scooter Club.
