Children at NNUH in for an ‘egg-scellent’ Easter
Young patients staying at the Jenny Lind Childrens’ Hospital at NNUH will be treated to a ‘cracking’ Easter after generous individuals, companies and organisations have given gifts of chocolate eggs.
Thanks to the generosity of Norwich Scooter Club, Radio Norwich 99.9, the National Westminster Bank and Brand Bank amongst others, children in at the hospital will have an ‘eggstra-special’ weekend.
Louise Cook, NNUH Fundraising Manager commented: “A big thank you to these generous companies and members of the public who have shown their support and helped to make Easter special for our patients, it means a lot to have local people supporting our hospital. ”
Erica Dernedde, NNUH Buxton Ward Sister said: “It’s lovely for our younger patients to receive these thoughtful gifts, the Easter eggs will really brighten their day. None of our patients are egg-specting any kind of gift so this really will be a surprise!”
