Hospital Communications Team Wins Two Awards

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital’s Communications Team has won two awards from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

The team were one of the biggest winners on the night scooping two awards.

The hospital team won the gold award in the category for internal communications in the regional CIPR awards for its communications for Trust staff and also won a silver award in the category for best use of social media for a Dementia Awareness Week campaign.

Fiona Devine, Director of Communications at NNUH, said: “The team is delighted to have won the gold CIPR award for internal communications and the silver for our social media work. These awards were established to be a celebration of exceptional talent and a reflection of public relations best practice and we are honoured to be a part of that and very proud to have won these Awards.”

Mark Davies, Chief Executive of NNUH said: “The team has done extremely well. I would like to thank them for all their work in the Trust on staff and public communications. Good communications is very important and vital to the Trust.”

The NNUH Communications team is comprised of Sophie Black, Janice Bradfield, Fiona Devine, Emma Jones and Clare Simpson.
