N&N Hospitals Charity Annual Charity Champion Awards

On Wednesday 7 October 2020 the Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals Charity will be holding its fifth Charity Champion Awards.

Formerly the Fundraising Inspiration Awards, the event aims to celebrate and champion the amazing support of all the donors who have provided gifts, raised funds and given their time to our charity for the benefit of our amazing hospitals.

Categories of the awards include: Charity Champion Community, Charity Champion Corporate, Young Charity Champion, Charity Champion Schools, Charity Champion Staff, Charity Champion Inspiration and, of course, we want to recognise the support that we have received during this health emergency with the category of Charity Champion Covid.

The awards will have a different look this year due to the impact of Covid-19, and instead of taking place live at the N&N, they will be pre-recorded and broadcast at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust virtual AGM, with recipients receiving their awards at their place of business, home or school. The film will be available via the charity’s website and social media feeds following the event.

John Paul Garside, Charity Director, said: “Our hospital charity is supported by staff, patients and the wider community. These awards recognise and honour just some of the amazing people who have helped the charity. We wish we could recognise everyone who helps us and, as a charity, we are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from across Norfolk, the Waveney valley and beyond. Every donation or gifts in kind is valued and makes a difference. We look forward to recognising our Charity Champions.”
