Clinical Research Network Celebration Awards

The Clinical Research Network (CRN) East of England Celebration Awards were held this week to reflect, connect and give recognition for the inspiring research happening across the region.

Many of our regional colleagues involved in National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), including some of our Public Contributors and Participant Research Ambassadors, as well as CRN Chief Executive Officer William van’t Hoff, joined the event.

Congratulations to Honorary Consultant Cardiologist Vassilios S Vassiliou, winner of the ‘Inspiration’ award (pictured with joint winner, Helen Jung, and Willam van’t Hoff, NIHR CRN Chief Executive Officer), and to Consultant Virologist Samir Dervisevic, who was shortlisted for the ‘Unsung Hero’ award.

Jeremy Turner, CRN East of England’s Lead Clinical Director, presented the 2022 Celebration Awards.
