Hospital charity challenge to complete the Lego brick walk
Anyone who has accidentally stood bare foot on a piece of Lego knows how unexpectedly painful it can be.
The N&N Hospitals Charity is organising the ultimate walking and fundraising challenge – a Lego Walk where children and adults alike will get the chance to walk across thousands of Lego bricks.
The event will take place in the East Atrium at NNUH on Wednesday July 10 between 6pm and 8pm and family and friends are also encouraged to come along and cheer on the participants.
Remy Allen-Martin, from the N&N Hospitals Charity, said: “We are so excited to host this event for the first time right here at the N&N. It’s a fabulous opportunity to get together with friends or colleagues and do something different to raise money for the Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital.”
Adults can complete the challenge bare foot while children are advised to wear socks.
Entry is £10 per person and everyone is asked to raise a recommended minimum sponsorship of £40.
The event is suitable for children aged five and above and family or group bookings can be accommodated.
