Tribute to Joann O’Donnell

We have sadly lost one of our beloved colleagues and friends – Joann “Jo” O’Donnell. Jo passed away at Priscilla Bacon Lodge on Friday 1 December at the age of 49, due to cancer.
Jo started at the Trust as a Radiology Department Assistant (RDA) in January 2010. In January 2011, she started training as a Radiology Assistant Practitioner (AP), and became one of the first AP’s in Plain Film at the NNUH in September 2013.
Jo was highly passionate about her role as an AP. She worked to the highest of standards, always putting patients first, whether it be producing high quality images, ensuring the department was spotless or always going the extra mile to care for her patients. She also had an infectious personality, and you could hear her laugh a mile off!
Jo is sorely missed by us all in Radiology, and all those who worked with her. A book of condolence is available in Plain Film, Radiology for anyone who wishes to contribute, to be given to her family.
Her funeral will be held at Breckland Crematorium on Friday 22 December.
Details of the funeral and how to make donations to Jo’s chosen charities can be found on the tribute page https://jo-odonnell.muchloved.com/
