Professional profile:  Mr McKelvey was awarded Subspecialist Status in Maternal Fetal Medicine in 2010, after completing a 4 year clinical and research fellowship with Prof Charles Rodeck at UCLH, having previously undertaken his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Northern Ireland. His publications include ultrasound screening in early pregnancy for fetal growth problems and potential therapeutic options for fetal growth restriction. He is Chair of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) Clinical Guidelines Committee and a member of the Council of the RCOG. He chairs the Consultant Staff Committee at the NNUH and is a member of NHS England’s Clinical Reference Group for Specialist Women’s Health. He is actively involved in medical teaching and research.
