Research & Academic Interests: Dr Kazmi has an established track record in clinical and translational oncology research, with over 40 peer-reviewed publications and an H-index of 8. His research focuses on targeted therapies, next-generation sequencing, and clinical trial methodology.

He has held key national and international research roles, including:

  • Principal Investigator for a Cochrane systematic review on next-generation sequencing–guided targeted therapies
  • Early Career Researcher with the Lancet Breast Cancer Commission
  • Principal Investigator in multiple clinic trial
  • Member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the World Conference on Lung Cancer 2025

His work also includes involvement in early-phase drug development and investigator-led studies in advanced cancers, with a particular interest in improving patient-reported outcomes and trial design.
