John Labouchere has spent a lifetime in timber trade, church joiner, toy maker, Andean adventurer. He is a Fellow of Royal Geographical Society. Fellow Institute of Wood Science. Also, Chairman & MD of three manufacturing companies (1967-2007) all extant. Breckland District Councillor 16 years. Chairman 2008-9. Mid-Norfolk Constituency chairman 7 years. Member of the Norfolk Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee 5 years, Parish Councillor 25 years.

Churchwarden many years, and Countryside Alliance 12 years. Patient NNUH (very satisfied!) 4 weeks 2013.  Board of North-West Anglia Health Authority, 5 years.  I feel I can bring a depth of experience in objective thinking to problems old and new. I work by encouragement rather than intimidation!
