Professional Expertise: Mr Nuwan Niyadurupola gained his medical qualification from the University of Southampton medical school and trained in Ophthalmology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Norwich. He has completed two internationally renowned glaucoma fellowships at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne, Australia and at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. During these fellowships he was trained in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma patients including complex cataract and glaucoma surgery. He was awarded his research degree (MD) for developing a human organotypic retinal culture model for glaucoma research at the University of East Anglia.
