Charity abseil returns for winter spectacular

The N&N Hospitals Charity Abseil is returning in what is fast becoming an annual tradition for thrill-seekers and daredevils, raising vital funds to support patients and staff at NNUH, Cromer and Jenny Lind Hospitals.

And for 2024, we have a double winter challenge – take on a unique Lego walk and abseil down the inside of the East Atrium when the fully qualified events team from Dave Talbot Adventure Events and Charity Firewalk will provide full training and support on the day.

You’ll experience the thrill of descent while supporting the charity which raises millions of pounds each year to support the work of the hospital to benefit patients and staff.

The events take place on Saturday 30 November and, as always, feel free to dig out the fancy dress as you descend from the fourth floor of the East Atrium.

Our previous charity abseils have sold out within weeks so please sign up as soon as possible to guarantee your place on the wall. Our Lego walk is a first for the charity so we hope as many people as possible will come along and step out of their comfort zone.

In both events, you can take part as a team or as an individual in support of our hospitals.

No experience is necessary. Registration is £25 and registration for the Lego Walk is £10, with double darers receiving a discount!

Each participant is asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £50 for the N&N Hospitals Charity supporting even better care for local patients.

Participants of the abseil must be at least 12 years old and under 18s will need to have parent consent.
