Communications Team strikes double Gold
The Corporate Communications Team at NNUH has struck double gold at a prestigious public relations industry awards event.
The team scooped two Gold and two Silver awards at the Chartered Institute of Public Relation’s (CIPR) PRide Awards for Anglia, Thames and Chiltern, which covers nine counties.
The awards, which were this year held online, recognised the communications team’s efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic, including Golds for best use of media relations and best use of digital and social media.
The team won Silver for Outstanding in-house PR team of the year and for Internal Communications for a quality and cost improvement campaign.
Fiona Devine, NNUH Director of Communications, said: “The PRide Awards honour the very best in communications across the region and we are delighted to have won two Golds and two Silvers. This is a fantastic achievement for the whole team and we are proud that our work is able to make such a big difference.”
Sam Higginson, NNUH Chief Executive, said: “I’d like to congratulate the team for this fantastic result, which is testament to all their hard work during the pandemic developing impactful campaigns and keeping our staff, patients, visitors and the general public informed and up-to-date during what has been an extremely busy time for our Trust.”
