Hospital charity’s Service of Remembrance
The annual Service of Remembrance will be available to view online from Saturday 18 September. The service is held for families, friends and carers of people who have died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals (NNUH).
This is the second year the N&N Hospitals Charity and the NNUH Chaplaincy team have hosted the service to which bereaved families and friends are invited to remember their loved ones.
The service welcomes those of all faiths and none, and people are invited to get in touch if they would like a loved one’s name or favourite poem to be read out at the service.
The service will be led by NNUH Head of Spiritual Healthcare Adrian Woodbridge and Chief Nurse Professor Nancy Fontaine in the hospital chapel with members of the public invited to watch the service from home which be recorded in advance.
N&N Hospitals Charity Coordinator Mercy Kaggwa said: “This is an all-inclusive event and an opportunity for people to remember their loved ones who have passed away at the hospital, not just in the past year but at any time.”
If you would like your loved one to be included either through a name, message or poem being read out, please email nnuhcharity@nnuh.nhs.uk with name and any message by Monday 6 September or telephone 01603 287107.
