Patients across Norfolk and Waveney are being asked to nominate the health professional or team who has gone the extra mile in providing their care at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital or Cromer Hospital.
The Patient Choice categories in the Staff Awards aim to recognise those who provide exceptional patient care and kindness or outstanding professional expertise.
Patients can nominate any nurse, doctor, midwife, therapist, receptionist, volunteer or other member of staff who looked after them during an outpatient visit, day treatment or hospital stay.
“We are a very busy hospital Trust and staff work every day to provide the best care to our patients and their families,” said Tom Spink, Chair of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH).
“We want to recognise their efforts and invite you to nominate a staff member or team who has gone above and beyond in providing your care.”
Lesley Dwyer, Chief Executive at NNUH said: “During my visits to different areas in our hospitals I see examples regularly of our staff working with great expertise and compassion. I’m so pleased that our Staff Awards give us the chance to recognise their work.”
You can find more information and nominate an individual member of staff or team on the Patient Choice Awards website.
Nominations close on Saturday 31 May.
