NNUH communications team shortlisted for industry award
The Corporate Communications department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) has been shortlisted for a prestigious communications industry award.
The team is in the running for honours at the Chartered Institute of Public Relation’s (CIPR) PRide Awards for Anglia, Thames and Chiltern which covers nine counties.
The shortlist was announced on 18 July with the team up for an award in the not-for-profit category for its campaign on Rhubarb to Robotics – celebrating 250 years of the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
Janice Bradfield, NNUH Head of Communications, said: “The PRide Awards honour the very best in communications and we are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for a CIPR award this year. We would like to thank the team at The Forum in Norwich who were so supportive and helped us to run a successful exhibition about our 250 year history, as part of a year-long programme of events. We are proud that our work is able to make such a big difference to our 11,000 staff and the wider community.”
Professor Nancy Fontaine, Chief Nurse, added: “This is fantastic news and well done to the team for being shortlisted for this award. Excellent communications is really important to a large university teaching hospital like ours and I’d like to thank the team for their continued hard work and support.”
