Try your hand at robotic-assisted surgery training at NNUH AGM
Visit the Annual General Meeting at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital’s East Atrium on Wednesday 5 October, where from 3pm to 4pm you will be able to walk around a marketplace of staffed stands, see an exhibition of our work and speak to our teams. There’s also an exhibition of our history up to the present day to mark our 250th anniversary.
There’ll be a demonstration surgical robot so that visitors can try out dexterity tasks, see information stands from a range of departments and you can meet some of our Pets As Therapy volunteers.
The AGM meeting runs from 4pm to 5.30pm in the Benjamin Gooch Lecture Theatre on Level 1 of the East Atrium. The programme includes a review of the year and you will be able to hear talks from our experts on the fascinating work of our Robotic-Assisted Surgery and Maternity Department teams.
We’re also looking forward to our N&N Hospitals Charity Awards, now in their sixth year, to thank members of the public for their tremendous support.
The event will conclude with a Question and Answer session with our Executive team.
Sam Higginson, Chief Executive, said: “The exhibitions and specialist talks will make this a fascinating event and we’re delighted to welcome members of the public onsite to our AGM.”
