Overview
Provide clear guidance for undertaking risk assessments in young people with suspected eating disorders seen at Norfolk and Norwich university Hospital.
2. Define which group of patient require admission to the acute paediatric ward
3. Identify key components for safe management of inpatients.
4. Provide clear guidelines for liaison between CAMHS and acute service including shared care for admitted patients referral to Central Norfolk Child & Adolescent Eating Disorders Service CEN-CAEDS within working hours unless significant immediate risk of self harm or psychotic symptoms needing immediate intervention and support from CAMHS .
