Data Protection and Confidentiality Policy 7.3

This Policy builds on previous Data Protection Policy by incorporating guidenace on the disclosure of information using the telephone the release of information to Social Services the Police and Armed Forces consent and the use of Information Sharing agreements and protocols.

The policy also expand its scope to cover images.
 
This policy also mandates the completion of a Data Protection Impact Assessment which are to be used to ensure that any new processes and procedures that involve the use of personal information or intrusive technologies are assessed for privacy risks and how this impacts on the protection of personal information.
