To prevent and manage the risk of a Health Care Worker HCW developing Tuberculosis TB from patient contact.
To prevent and manage the exposure of TB in HCW
To outline the health surveillance and reporting mechanisms for those staff who are regularly exposed to patients
with TB or who work in high risk clinical environments for exposure to TB.
