This is the largest dermatology department in Norfolk and Suffolk. There are close links with the departments of plastic surgery, rheumatology and genito-urinary medicine.
The department’s main reception is in the Centre block level 1 near to Dunston ward . However our consultation and procedure rooms are spread across the following areas. Please check your letter for confirmation of location.

The department is a training centre for dermatology doctors and nurses and also has close links with the University of East Anglia and the British Association of Dermatologists. The British Association of Dermatologists website has many accurate and helpful information leaflets which can be downloaded.
At certain times of the year we have medical and nursing students in the dermatology department. We don’t usually have more than one student per clinic room. If you prefer not to have a student present then please let one of the receptionists or nurses know.
The department believes that research improves the quality of medical care year on year. We try to offer the opportunity to participate in research to all patients who wish to be involved, if suitable studies are available. There are many studies ongoing in the department see Dermatology Research
