Dermatology Cromer
The Cromer dermatology department is a compact, friendly unit next to the outpatient area.
The team comprises of nursing staff supported by dermatology doctors. The doctors work in the dermatology departments in Cromer and Norwich. The nurses at Cromer and District Hospital have now created an individual unit which is able to offer the same specialised services as those available in Norwich.
There are now three medical consultants, Dr Anne-Marie Skellett, Dr Puran Gurung and nurse consultant Carrie Wingfield supported by Dr Mark Fleming, a North Norfolk GP with expertise in dermatology, which enables the service to offer a wide range of treatments and increase the number of people treated at Cromer.
Despite these staff increases there is still a great demand for skin cancer work in Cromer (remember to wear a hat and use sunblock!).
For a list of services that are available in Cromer please see our Services page.
The British Association of Dermatologists website has many accurate and helpful information leaflets which can be downloaded.
