Referral Guidance for Community Optometrists
Please use the link below to access the current referral guidance for community optometrists making referrals from primary care to the Ophthalmology Directorate at the NNUH.
All non-emergency referrals should now be made from a secure NHSmail email account. Emergency referrals should still be made by telephone to OERS (‘Eye Casualty’) in the first instance (with a letter to support the referral being sent via NHSmail after the telephone call).
