Registering a Death
All deaths, except those referred to the Coroner, must be registered within five days. A bereavement adviser will explain how you should do this and who may register a death.
You can register a death at any of the nine Registration offices in Norfolk. Appointments are necessary for all offices. Click the following link for details of Registration offices on the County council’s website including making an appointment on-line. The Registrars can offer ‘Tell Us Once’ which is a service notifying government and local council departments of the death. Click the following link for ‘Tell Us Once’ information.
