Professional Profile: I am a Consultant ENT, Thyroid, Robotic and Head and Neck Surgeon based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. I have a dual specialist fellowship status, having completed both the prestigious National Royal College of Surgeons interface fellowship in Head and Neck disease at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London and an international fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Facial Plastic Surgery from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

I specialise in Head and Neck surgery, and take interest in all of its various sub-topics including voice, sleep and endocrine surgery. This includes all manner of operating, including open major head and neck resective procedures such as removal of the voice box to small microscopic and endoscopic procedures on the nose and sinuses.

I have an avid interest in both research and teaching and hold a research doctorate looking at diseases of the oropharynx.

Personal Profile: I enjoy being active and prioritising my fitness, particularly through running, which helps me maintain physical and mental wellbeing. I have an interest in photography and enjoy hiking, walking, and exploring new places whenever I can. In my free time, I value spending time with my wife and our three children. I also enjoy reading, gardening, and have recently been getting back into playing chess.
