Welcome to the ENT department at NNUH. This is a busy department with five consultants, and further three visiting consultants from James Paget University Hospital, in charge of the clinical care of the patients with ENT problems.

ENT clinics

All general ENT clinics are held on level 2, West Block.

Specialist Clinics within the ENT outpatient department:

• Voice clinic in conjunction with Speech and Language Therapists
• Rhinology clinic
• Head & Neck Cancer clinic
• Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) Implant clinic (one of the largest centres in the country)
• Children’s ENT clinics
• Specialist Ear Care clinic
• Full audiology and hearing aid services
• Norwich Balance clinic
• Tinnitus clinic

Operating sessions:

The ENT operating lists are performed in Day Procedure Unit and within Main Theatres. The majority of the ENT procedures are performed as day cases where the patients can be discharged on the same day.

The ENT department also provides training for junior doctors and Specialist ENT Trainees at all levels of training.

Annual humanitarian charitable “Ear Camp”. Mr Hanif travels to Pakistan for a week to perform major ear surgery for poor patients (totally by charitable funding)
