Boudicca Breast Care Unit

Our Breast Multidisciplinary team aims to provide first class treatment and support for all patients with breast related problems. The breast surgical team manages patients with benign and malignant breast diseases, and patients with family history of breast cancer. We provide a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment and care with our colleagues in Radiology Breast Imagining Department, Oncology, Pathology, Plastic reconstruction surgery and the surgical outpatients department.

The Boudicca Breast Unit is located on Level 3, West Block at NNUH.

Our Breast Specialist Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meets weekly to provide expertise in breast surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, reconstructive surgery, radiology, histopathology, psychological, social support and palliative care. It consists of consultants, doctors, specialist nurses and other allied professionals involved in the care of breast cancer patients, ensuring that patients have the benefit of the range of expert advice needed for high quality care and treatment.
