Molecular Genetics

The NNUH Molecular Genetics lab provides tests for common polymorphisms associated with haemochromatosis (HFE gene), thrombophilia (Factor II and Factor V) and certain autoimmune disorders (HLA B-27).

We also test for clonality (IGH and TCR genes) for the diagnosis of cutaneous lymphoma: this service is only available to the histopathologists.
