The Acute Medical Unit (I) offers Advanced Care Bay services and has dedicated rooms for patients with mental health needs. It also caters to those patients who remain under the care of the AMU team and need up to 48 hours in hospital.

How to find this unit

The Ward is located on Level 1 in the East Block with access through AMU (K).

If you are coming by car and need to park, the closest car park(s) are K, L, M.

If the car park is full, spaces may be available in the public car park opposite A&E, which is operated independently.
