Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Training

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is the international ethical, scientific and practical standard to which all clinical research is conducted. Compliance with GCP provides public assurance that the rights, safety and well-being of research participants are protected and that research data are reliable. Everyone involved in the conduct of clinical research must be competent to perform their tasks, qualified by education, training and experience.

To find a list of the latest face to face training and to book onto GCP courses you will need to register for an account on the CRN Learn website. If you have Previously completed GCP training, there are Refresher courses available.

The sessions are either a full day introduction or a 3½ hour refresher. All bookings for these dates will be made through CRN Learn on the NIHR training website.

Online training is also available for those unable to make the face to face sessions. For more information about these, please click here or contact the R&D office on 01603 289808.
