Neonatology
Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cares for very sick babies. Our NICU is a specialist regional intensive care unit. The hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit is one of three centres providing services to the Eastern Perinatal Network and one of the two NICUs which provide surgical treatment to newborn babies in the Eastern region. This means we care for babies with the most complex problems and who require constant supervision from hospitals across the eastern region.
